Mid-Willamette Valley Council of Governments.
The Technical Services Department performs
a variety of GIS,
mapping, training, data,
census, addressing, custom site analysis,
Web-enabled GIS mapping
and web development services for our members,
non-profit agencies and private consulting
companies. Additionally, we create and maintain
a variety of reports and statistics in direct
support of the MWVCOG programs.
The Technical Services Department has a
decade of GIS-based, CADD-based and Census
data warehoused on site. As part of our
programmatic functions and past projects
we have collected and maintain a variety
of data including address listings, land
use, zoning, population, employment, building
permit activity, census data and natural
resources inventories. We also have available
a commercial grade consumer and business
demographic data set for custom marketing
or demographic analysis.
A geographic pofile of the SKATS Region is presented in the Transportation Disadvantaged Populations in the SKATS Region - A Geographic Profile (2000) report.
