Rural Placemaking Innovation Challenge

The Rural Placemaking Innovation Challenge program provides funds to eligible entities for planning support, technical assistance, and training to foster placemaking activities in rural communities. Among other priorities, emphasis is placed on projects that enhance broadband infrastructure, capacity and deployment. Eligible entities include Local Governments, Federally Recognized Tribes, Tribal Organizations, Institutions of Higher Education, Nonprofits, and Small Private Entities.
