June 13 – June 27, 2023, the Salem-Keizer Area Transportation Study (SKATS) requests public input on two amendments to the fiscal year 2021-2026 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). Project details can be found below (click the links for additional information):
- Verda Ln: Dearborn Ave to Ascot Ln (Keizer) --Add funds to Preliminary Engineering and Right-of-Way phases. Total increase of $784,903 (704,293 federal; $80,610 match).
- SAMTD Battery Electric Charging Infrastructure --Add new project to procure and install electric bus charging infrastructure. $952,534 total ($762,027 federal; $190,507 match).
